Supernova Publishers & Distributors Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in publishing and distribution of quality books in India and Saarc countries. Supernova has already become a well known entity in the Indian Book Trade in its brief existence. The company initially, consciously worked to establish its presence in the highly under represented areas of Eastern India through its office in Kolkata, although it is headquartered in Delhi, which is the centre for the Indian Book Trade.
Our Company has at present offices in three locations namely New Delhi, Kolkata and Lucknow and has sub distributors in Mumbai and Chennai, which has helped us to establish a pan Indian presence. Supernova also exports directly to retailers and distributors in countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Supernova plans to set up an office in Mumbai in the next seven to eight months.
The people behind Supernova comprise of the able team led by Harsh Singh, and his associates namely Gautam Singh, Udayan Singh and Gobinda Chandra Biswas. The sure recipe of success that the company has created can be found in the sum total of the talents that management team has acquired over the years. The entrepreneurial talent of Harsh Singh and his other associates is already there for everyone to see, which has been complemented by the experience in the book trade of Gobinda Chandra Biswas.
Supernova’s success can be easily gauged by the business associations that we have developed in the brief period of our existence. Our activity in the area of publishing has significantly expanded. The Supernova management team is working assiduously to add to our initial list of Saddleback Illustrated Classics by tying up book deals with other reputed international publishers like New Holland Publishing, UK & South Africa from whom we have obtained the exclusive distribution rights for the Indian Sub Continent for a seminal work on the game of cricket by late legendary coach Bob Woolmer. Supernova is also coming out soon with a cookery book on Hyderabadi cuisine by celebrity chef Kulsum Begum. There are many more new publishing projects, which are on the anvil, which shall be fructifying over the next eight to ten months. Supernova is working towards becoming a recognized publisher of general, life style and reference books in the Indian Sub Continent.
